Darcy Burthay to president and chief executive of Providence Health System of Washington, D.C., from managing director of home care services for Providence's parent company Ascension of St. Louis. Burthay replaces Duane Erwin, who had served as interim president and chief executive for Providence Health System since November.
St. Rita's Health Partners of Lima, Ohio, has made these changes: Dale Gisi to president of St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, from vice president of operations. Dr. Kevin Casey to chief clinical officer for St. Rita's Health Partners' Lima region. Ronda Lehman to vice president and chief operating officer, Mercy Health Physicians, Lima. Jacque Daley-Perrin to foundation president, St. Rita's Health Partners.
Monte Bostwick to market chief executive of CHI St. Luke's Health — Memorial, Lufkin, Texas, from chief executive of Merit Health in Biloxi, Miss. He replaces Gary Looper, who is retiring.
Steven Foster to president of Patients Medical Center of Pasadena, Texas, from chief executive of Barstow Community Hospital in Barstow, Calif. Effective Aug. 8, Foster will replace Bill Simmons, who has retired. Patients Medical Center is part of CHI St. Luke's Health of Houston.
Nancy Steiger has resigned as chief executive for the Columbia network of PeaceHealth of Vancouver, Wash. That network includes PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center of Vancouver and PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center of Longview, Wash. In her role, she also had served as chief executive of PeaceHealth Southwest. PeaceHealth Southwest Chief Operating Officer Wade Hunt will serve as interim chief executive for PeaceHealth Southwest.
