Ella Goss
 to chief executive of Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska, from director of the Providence Cancer Center. She'd joined Providence in 1997 as a staff nurse. Goss succeeds Dr. Richard Mandsager, who is retiring as chief executive.

Dawn Rudolph to president and chief executive of St. Vincent's Health Services of Bridgeport, Conn., from chief experience officer for Saint Thomas Health in Nashville, Tenn. Rudolph replaces Vicki Briggs, who stepped down as St. Vincent's president and chief executive to assume the chief executive position at UT Health Tyler of Tyler, Texas.

Sean Williams to president and chief executive of Mercy Iowa City in Iowa City, Iowa, effective May 1. He was president and chief executive of Mercy Medical Center — Clinton of Clinton, Iowa.

Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines in Des Moines, Iowa, has announced these changes: Clint Christianson plans to retire as president of Mercy Medical Center — Centerville in Centerville, Iowa, Aug. 15. That campus is owned by Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines. Also, Dr. William Vandivier to chief physician executive of Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines and president of Mercy Clinics, part of Mercy Medical Center — Des Moines. He was interim physician executive and president. He replaced Dr. Kent Carr, who now is president of the Mercy Health Network Physician Enterprise. Mercy Clinics is a multispecialty physician enterprise of more than 400 providers at more than 50 locations.

Michael Englehart has departed as president and chief executive of Chicago-based Presence Health, effective March 30. Presence Health joined St. Louis-based Ascension March 1, becoming part of the system's AMITA Health joint venture. Englehart's position will not be replaced. Since Presence is now part of AMITA, Mark A. Frey, president and chief executive of AMITA, will head it.

Dr. Matthew J. Griffin to chief medical officer of St. Mary Mercy Livonia in Livonia, Mich.
