We will present on the history of boards as they moved from consultative to deliberative and how they now relate to non-traditional sponsors. Sr. Pat Eck, CBS, of Bon Secours Mercy Ministries, and Kathy Vestal, Ph.D., chairperson of Bon Secours Mercy Health, will discuss the distinct roles and responsibilities of board and sponsors and best practices for communication. There will be time to share best practices and other learnings.
