POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) continues to gain popularity across the country with more and more states passing legislation to give it legal status. Some individuals and organizations, however, are raising concerns about POLST related to implementation and consistency with the Catholic ethical and theological tradition.
