Health Care Equity: Joint Commission Certification Standards and Resources

In 2023, The Joint Commission began offering a voluntary Health Care Equity Certification to recognize hospitals leading in health care equity through assessments in five categories: leadership, collaboration, data collection, provision of care, and performance improvement. Dr. Christina Cordero will explain how hospitals can receive the certification and describe the resources available to support hospitals in their health equity journey.
