This webinar makes the case that palliative care is a model for excellence in long-term health care. By creating a culture of palliative care and putting in place policies and practices that support it, long-term care organizations can provide the care their residents need and deserve. First, however, we must overcome barriers to palliative care. This program identifies these barriers and suggests ways to create change through education, policies and commitment.
