They are looking for a dynamic, strategic, action-oriented executive to serve as the Vice President, Regional Health Ministry, Strategy, Business Development & Growth (VP, Strategy). Serving as the regional leader of strategy and business development over five acute care hospitals in the market, this role will help develop and implement the THMA growth plan, which includes all strategy, marketing, people-centered engagement, business development, clinical partnership/outreach and communication initiates. The VP, Strategy will also leverage national standards, processes and templates to meet the market's needs.
The THMA regional health ministry market includes St. Mary Medical Center (Langhorne, PA), Saint Francis Healthcare (Wilmington, DE), Nazareth Hospital (Philadelphia) and Mercy Catholic Medical Center (MCMC) comprised of Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital (Darby, PA) and Mercy Philadelphia Hospital. THMA is a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, and includes 92 hospitals, as well as 107 continuing care locations. Trinity Health employs more than 133,000 colleagues, including more the 7,800 full-time employed physicians and clinicians.
The VP, Strategy will closely collaborate with senior leadership across the region as well as at Trinity's system office in Livonia, MI to develop, lead and implement a regional strategy which focuses on opportunities for growth as well as market-specific initiatives to address individual needs, all while aligning with Trinity's overall strategic plan. We seek a bold and strategic executive with strong business development, research, analytical, communications and execution skills. An individual with superior judgment, values and creativity, along with a passion for the mission of faith-based healthcare, will be several keys to this position's success. Experience in working across multiple markets as well as within a system environment is highly desired. This is a newly created position and the structure of this leadership role is currently in the process of being rolled out across all Trinity Regional Health Ministries. Candidates will need to be comfortable with some ambiguity, as the structure and strategy are being implemented.
