Witt/Kieffer is proud to partner with Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic (THMA) in their search for a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its first regional Chief Development Officer (CDO). This is a unique opportunity to help create and implement a regional approach to philanthropy within the greater Philadelphia and Wilmington area.
Currently, each of the three systems (5 hospitals) comprising THMA conduct their own philanthropic efforts. In addition, two of the three foundations are currently in a rebuilding mode. As a result, this opportunity offers a strong philanthropy executive the chance to build a regional structure and lead efforts to grow an innovative and successful philanthropy program across multiple organizations. In addition, the regional CDO will also serve as the senior foundation leader for the largest hospital within the region, St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.
This position requires an individual who has energy, passion, and a deep understanding of the art and science of philanthropy. We seek a strategic thinker who can build and lead an integrated effort to generate philanthropy support and manage processes across multiple entities. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in fundraising and comprehensive knowledge of all major advancement functions, including the ability to solicit and close major gifts. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for the mission of Catholic, not- for-profit healthcare, are also needed for success.
We would appreciate your nominations of outstanding candidates or expressions of personal interest. Inquiries and nominations will be kept confidential and should be directed to Adriane Willig or Randy Dietrich via phone at (630) 575-6701 or via email at: TrinityHealthMidAtlCDO@wittkieffer.com.
