PeaceHealt h has a wonderful opportunity for you to contribute to our Mission as our System Director of Ethics
In this role, you are responsible for enhancing the awareness and integration of ethics and theology throughout the system, including attention to clinical, organizational, social ethics and our Catholic identity. As a trusted advisor, work collaboratively with the System Leaders and Mission Services team to offer guidance, identify opportunities and develop responses consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values. Oversees system-wide efforts to deepen the application of ethics and theology through education, consultation, ethical discernment and effective support systems to empower effective ethical decision making and operations
Located in the Pacific Northwest, this leadership role is an integral member of the Mission Services team, offering support and guidance across our multi-site health care system including locations in Oregon, Washington, Arkansas
The successful candidate skills include:
- Develops long- and short-term business strategies, operational plans and oversees implementation.
- Manages the design, structure, development and planning issues within scope of direction.
- Responsible for quality, service and regulatory compliance.
- Provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management for all aspects of the ethics function; serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization.
- Doctorate, Ethics, Social Ethics, Moral Theology, Philosophy, or directly related field is required.
- Minimum of ten years’ management experience in ethics and/or theology preferably in medical related setting.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a health care setting required.
