Peer Tracks

In 2023, CHA asked members how we could reimagine the Assembly experience. One suggestion was to have designated peer group sessions where attendees can share ideas among like-minded professionals and reflect on content provided during general sessions. Taking that recommendation to heart, CHA is offering Peer Track sessions following three of the keynote presentations.

Sunday, June 9: Peer Connections

This facilitated conversation led by CHA staff will follow Amy Finkelstein's Keynote Presentation on Bold Solutions to Fixing America's Health Care System.

The cohorts identified are:
  • CEO's and sponsors meet with Amy (invite only)
  • Mission leaders and ethicists
  • Spiritual care and formation Leaders
  • Community Benefit/Advocacy/Marketing/Strategy
  • Care Delivery & Operations

Monday, June 10: Interdisciplinary Dialogue

Following Cardinal Robert McElroy's presentation on the Synod on Synodality, attendees will experience the synodal process in small group settings. The process will involve deep listening and reflection and allow participants to engage in enriching dialogue with colleagues around a table.

Tuesday, June 11: AI Deep Dive: Join the Conversation

Following Tom Koulopoulos' presentation on AI and Reimagining Health Care, Tom will meet with CEOs, board members, ethicists, and leaders in operations (including IT) to answer their questions and share ideas. Other Assembly attendees will gather near the main stage to hear from thought leaders in the ministry about how they are applying AI in their organizations, particularly as it relates to the patient experience. The presenters and CHA staff will facilitate a discussion on the potential and pitfalls of this rapidly evolving technology.
