The Catholic health care ministry continues to evolve internationally through our core health care business, charitable activities, congregational actions, technological advances and outsourced services. This progress — both not-for-profit and for profit activities — call for careful consideration of many factors including cultural variances and ethical implications. This meeting, the morning of the opening day of the 2017 Catholic Health Assembly, will bring together sponsors, trustees, c-suite members and those charged with managing international programs and businesses to discuss current programs, projects and perspectives that extend our mission beyond our country's borders. Those who attend will gain the perspective of their peers engaging in international activities as well as leaders of Catholic Church sponsored international organizations who work in international development.
