Persons caring for elder residents in Catholic long term
care facilities need a personal spirituality that appreciates the reality of
sacramentality, of the meaning diminishment and death, while providing time for
reflection and personal prayer. Narratives can help awaken the spirituality in
each of us and help us to respond more fully to the spiritual needs of those we
serve. This webinar discussed the importance and use of narrative, the
sacramental foundations of caring for persons, and how caregivers can nurture
their own spirituality and the spirituality of these they serve.
Presenter: Sr. Patricia Talone, RSM,
