    What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" It is a special web feature that allows you to sign up for updated news, events and resources from our website.

An update sent using RSS is referred to as a feed. RSS feeds are displayed in what is called an RSS reader. Examples of readers are My Yahoo and My Google home pages. When you sign up for a RSS feed from CHA, it displays in a section of the reader home page. In other words, if you have your own My Yahoo page, you can add a section that pulls in CHA Announcements.

    Why use RSS?
If you sign up for a CHA RSS feed, you will get instant updates of our news, programs, resources and other announcements.

How do I sign up for an RSS feed?

    1. Go to the page on our website for the feed (right now we just have the CHA Announcements).
    2. Click on the orange "subscribe" button on the right side of the screen. It will take you to another website with a list of buttons of various RSS readers (see screenshot below).
    3. If you have a current reader (such as My Yahoo or My Google), select that button.
    4. If you don’t have a reader already set up, you can still select one and the one you choose will walk you through creating your reader home page.
    5. After you are signed up, any time you visit your reader home page, you will see the latest CHA Announcements in that web part.
