Mercy Health of Cincinnati has made these changes: John Starcher to Mercy Health executive vice president, operations, responsible for the Cincinnati and Springfield, Ohio, and Paducah, Ky., markets and president of Mercy Health in the Cincinnati Market. He was president and chief executive of Health Management Associates prior to its sale to Community Health Systems of Franklin, Tenn. Deborah Bloomfield to Mercy Health executive vice president and chief financial officer; Jane Durney Crowley to executive vice president and chief transformation officer; Brian Smith to executive vice president of operations; Yousuf Ahmad to Mercy Health senior vice president, system development, from president and chief executive of Mercy Heath in the Cincinnati market; and Jerry Judd to Mercy Health senior vice president and treasurer.

David Argueta to president of CHI St. Luke's Health's The Woodlands Hospital of Conroe, Texas; Lakeside Hospital of Conroe; and Springwoods Village of Spring, Texas, now under development. He was interim president.

Paulette Evans to president and chief executive of HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Ill., from interim president and chief executive.

Garry C. Faja will retire at year's end as regional president and chief executive at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System of Ypsilanti, Mich.

David Schultz to president of Harrison Medical Center of Bremerton, Wash., from executive vice president and chief operating officer at Overlake Medical Center of Bellevue, Wash.

Julie Sprengel to chief executive of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., from vice president of physician integration for Dignity Health of San Francisco. She succeeds Michael Rembis, who now is working on special projects for Providence Southern California.

The Congregation of the Sisters of Bon Secours of Paris has reelected Sr. Patricia A. Eck, CBS, as congregation leader. The congregation has reelected its congregation team: Sr. Rose Marie Jasinski, CBS, of the United States; Sr. Marie Ryan, CBS, of Ireland; and Sr. Rosalinda Paulo Urena, CBS, of Peru. The congregation has delegated Sr. Nancy Glynn, CBS, as country leader in France, and Sr. Jasinski as liaison for the Sisters of Bon Secours in South Africa.

HONOR
CHA President and Chief Executive Officer Sr. Carol Keehan, DC, was elected last month to membership in the Washington, DC-based Institute of Medicine.
