This CHA webinar is part of the We Are Called: Confronting Racism by Achieving Health Equity initiative.

As a part of our ongoing offerings related to the We Are Called pledge, this webinar will focus on the importance of cultural competency among caregivers and associates. This webinar will explore the inequitable care that has been provided to peoples of color due to a lack of cultural competence and inaccurate assumptions. We will provide examples and stories of best practices in our ministry where caregivers undergo unconscious bias training in order to increase cultural competency and improve the quality of care provided to patients and residents.
