The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is the headquarters hotel for Assembly 2024. Situated on the waterfront overlooking the San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego, this hotel is conveniently located near attractions like the Gaslight District, Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo. Amenities include two free-form swimming pools, TopGolf swing suites, a fitness center and a full-service spa, The Hideaway. It also offers a range of dining options, including award-winning cuisine at Marina Kitchen Restaurant & Bar and inventive Asian fusion at Roy's.

BEFORE BOOKING THE HOTEL- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  1. REGISTER FOR ASSEMBLY FIRST, THEN BOOK THE HOTEL: To reserve a discounted room in the conference headquarters hotel, please first register for Assembly 2024. At the end of the registration process, you will get a link to reserve your room at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. If you contact the hotel directly, you will be redirected to CHA's official housing provider (see point #2 below).
  2. OFFICIAL HOUSING PROVIDER: ConferenceDirect is the official housing provider for Assembly 2024, and the ONLY hotel reservation service authorized by CHA. If you are contacted by another company claiming they are affiliated with CHA or the Assembly, it is strongly recommended that you do not use their services. Doing so could result in lost deposits or not having a valid hotel reservation upon your arrival in San Diego.
  3. CONFERENCE RATE: A discounted rate at the Marriott Marquis San Diego is available to Assembly guests for $292 single/double (plus applicable taxes/fees). Free guestroom internet for Marriott Bonvoy members is included. This rate is available through May  17, 2024, or until CHA's room block is sold out; and is good for stays between June 6-13, 2024 (based on availability). NOTE: You must register first for Assembly 2024 before you can book a room in the conference hotel (see section #1 above).
  4. Registration for the Assembly does not guarantee sleep room availability. Hotel reservations are the responsibility of the attendee. Cancellation of sleep room reservations must be made 72 hours (three business days) prior to anticipated arrival, to avoid being charged for the first night's stay.

  1. Take the 992 bus from San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 to Broadway & Kettner Bl.
  2. Take the bus from San Diego International Terminal 1 to Old Town Transit Center. Take the tram from Old Town Station to Convention Center Station.
  3. Take the line 992 bus from San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 to Broadway & Front St.
  4. Take a taxi from San Diego Airport (SAN) to Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
  5. Take a shuttle bus from San Diego Airport to Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
  6. Take a town car from San Diego Airport to Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
Designated Ride Share passenger pickup locations are listed below:
  • Terminal 1: Travelers will exit baggage claim, use the new pedestrian crosswalk, with a traffic light to provide access to Ground Transportation resources (VFH, Courtesy, Taxis, Rideshare and RCC). See signage for assistance.
  • Terminal 2: Upon exiting baggage claim, use the main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza. Ridesharing pick-up is located in the second lane on the right. See signage for assistance.
