    Pre-LCWR Assembly Sponsorship Program
    Many Paths, One Mission: Sponsorship and Governance in Catholic Health Care

    OVERVIEW

    CHA's annual sponsorship program preceding the 2012 LCWR Assembly will examine current and emerging sponsorship models/approaches in Catholic health care.

    For your convenience, the complimentary event will take place immediately prior to the opening of the annual LCWR conference Aug. 7 in St. Louis. The conference is open to sponsors and corporate members of CHA-member organizations, members of LCWR, CMSWR and CMSM.

    We invite you to join us at this timely and informative program for sponsors and senior leaders in the Catholic health ministry.

    OBJECTIVES

    Following the event, participants will be able to:

    • Understand the authority and responsibility of sponsors as required by canon law and civil law for sponsored health care ministries.
    • Articulate the role of congregational members as it relates to sponsorship and governance.
    • Identify models of sponsorship and governance in Catholic health care.
    • Discuss current issues important to Catholic health care in the United States.
