Catholic Healthcare West hospitals receive Circle of Life for palliative care
St. John's Regional Medical Center of Oxnard, Calif., and St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital of Camarillo, Calif., accepted the Circle of Life citation of honor for innovation in their joint end-of-life and palliative care program at a summer luncheon held in San Francisco in conjunction with the American Hospital Association's annual leadership summit. The Circle of Life recognition is sponsored by CHA, AHA, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice Foundation.
