    Mission Assessment and Measurement Tool

MissionThumbnail CHA receives many requests from our members for examples of mission assessment and measurement tools. Because there is much good work already in place, CHA is offering a new resource to highlight the variety of successful methods being used by systems of various sizes. We also take this opportunity to share some of the experience CHA staff have had as they have collaborated with some member systems in their process.

This new CHA online resource, By Their Fruits You Will Know Them: Mission Assessment and Measurement, responds to your requests for a "clearinghouse" that makes available important examples of mission assessment and measurement.

The resource includes four parts. Part I focuses on mission assessment; Part II, on measurement. In these first two parts, you will find examples provided by CHA members. Each includes background information, resource documents and a video Q&A that provide the narrative of the process for assessment and measurement. Part III provides sample mission structures, which consist of organizational charts and mission leader job descriptions and Part IV includes additional examples and resources provided by members of the ministry, as well as CHA.

Our goal is for this to be a dynamic tool, which we plan to update with additional examples and resources periodically. If you are interested in providing us with examples from your organization, please contact Brian Yanofchick.
