    Sister Mary Haddad, RSM, a Sister of Mercy of the South Central Community, is senior director of sponsor services for the Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA). Sister Mary develops, implements, and evaluates programs, services, and products designed to support leaders of religious institutes, laity and bishops who sponsor American Catholic health care and also works in cooperation with other service areas within CHA, providing research and development, and education and facilitation to foster evolving forms of sponsorship to meet future ministry needs.

    Prior to joining CHA, Sister Mary was administrative fellow at Saint Anthony's Health System in Alton, Ill. Previously, she served on the regional leadership team of the Sisters of Mercy, St. Louis. Sister Mary has held various positions within health care, social service, and educational ministries and has lived and ministered in Belize and Trinidad. She also has served in sponsorship and governance for health care and educational institutions. 

    Sister Mary received her master's degree in business administration in health care from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and a master's degree in social work from Saint Louis University. Her undergraduate degree in education is from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Ill. Sister Mary serves on the Christian Brothers Employee Retirement Plan Pension Board. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, The Honor Society of Jesuit Institutions of Higher Education.
