
Fred Caesar serves as the special assistant to the president - communications for the Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA). He reports to the president and chief executive officer and is based in the association's Washington, DC office. Mr. Caesar is a member of the association's President's Advisory Council and works in consort with the senior vice presidents and vice presidents as an association representative, adviser, and manager in communicating the identity, mission, values, and strategic directions of the association. His responsibilities include enhancing the public's perception of the Catholic health ministry and serving as an information liaison to the CHA board and staff, association members, and the media. Prior to joining CHA in 1990, he served as vice president, marketing and public relations, at the Hospital Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Previously, he was responsible for the management of television and radio news operations in St. Louis, Harrisburg, Pa, and Portland, Maine. Mr. Caesar is the recipient of numerous awards, including an "Emmy" from the Boston Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Science and "Emmy" certificates of recognition from the St. Louis Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Science. He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration (BSBA) from Washington University, St. Louis.
