    Going Green in Eldercare

    OVERVIEW

Being environmentally responsible helps us live out our values as mission-driven eldercare facilities. It demonstrates care for creation and stewardship of resources. Getting started in this work takes a bit of organization and a lot of passion. Our faculty for this webinar from Covenant Health Systems, has both — in spades! They will share their experience of forming green teams, re-thinking food service, and implementing processes for recycling, reuse and reduction of waste and energy use. They will show you how they saved money going green and you can too!

    OBJECTIVES

As a result of this program, participants will be able to:

    • Plan how to embark on a program of environmental responsibility.
    • Engage leaders, employees and community members in going green.
    • Measure and celebrate success in environmental responsibility.
